India Animal Pack

I mean everyone has its own opinion of which is a "crap" pack
. The problems I have with the asiatic lion I have mentioned in the post before. But I can understand people wanting them because Zoos normally still divide into asiatic lions.
I want gaur and porcupine so I would be happy with that, and I think blackbuck and sloth bear are also good additions. Personally, I could take or leave the others... three bovids in one pack is a bit much and the nilgai is the one I care about the least. Asiatic lion is very meh... would much rather a small cat be added like Pallas' cat. I'd also choose a different monkey since we already have one kind of macaque, how about a grey langur?
Not a bad pack other than having the Asiatic lion. The game's lion already covers lions in Asia, even has the range in Zoopedia. I would make the porcupine this pack's cover animal and pick a different 7th habitat animal instead of the lion.
Same. The macaque is also a great addition, and both it and the langur are very iconic of India. People love the nilgai for what i've read but i prefer other ungulates. Still three ungulates in one pack seems like a lot. And i prefer the caracal or the fishing cat instead of the lion because i doubt they will edit their base game lion model which is horrendous and make it just a reskin of it. Unless this means we get a re-make of the base game lion to go along with the asiatic lion then i'll be more than happy. Still think we are missing on small cats more than big cats. So yeah, caracal or fishing cats are my choices.
Maybye a will create that idea, for now are just expansions for existent packs or things i would like to see
Totally agree. Re-name the current Lion as the southern Lion, it’s well over halfway there as it is.
Only because I'm curious what a new lion would look like. I never use the in-game lion because it's so weird. But from a species point of view I feel it's entirely redundant because we already have a lion.
In this pack, the Blackbuck, Nilgai, cobra, and Lion-tailed macaque are an absolute Yay from me. The Indian crested porcupine is not my favorite, but a good choice.
I'm missing a langur species. While I like the gaur, I feel like we already have this niche filled with the wild water buffalo. If it were up to me I'd switch the gaur with an Indian deer species: muntjac, axis, or sambar for instance. I do not like the sloth bear and don't think the game could do it justice anyway because it is so fluffy. We'd just get another overweight bear. Instead, I'd pick the honeybadger or striped hyena for a predator slot.
Long story short: I'd change the gaur for an Indian deer, change the lion for a langur, change the sloth bear for a honeybadger, and keep the porcupine, nilgai, blackbuck, macaque and cobra.
