hello, I recently found a green gas giant but did not map it because I thought it was not important. now I have completely looked at my entire route and could not find it in the system maps. Is there a possibility that the logs will check whether I really saw him and give me the coordinates of that green gas giant?

Check your Codex entries - Green Gas Giants (most of them, anyway) have distinctive Codex entries, so you should have a "Confirmed" entry for ones you've seen in a sector - basic scan is sufficient, no need to map.
i cant even see it in codex because i didnt map it, i just saw it on FSS
If you saw it in FSS it should be added to the codex, you don't need to map it for it to be added to the codex.

Or is wasn't a proper green gas giant, how do you know it was? Did it say so in the FSS?
Oh yes just because you can't tell from the systems map doesn't mean a lot, they don't need much green to be a green gas giant.

They are rare. One thing that needs to be clear here, FDEV will in no way help you track down this entry, they don't do that, you need to search your journals to find it.

Saved games folder normally, but you could use a tool like EDDiscovery to assist if you don't want to search manually yourself.

Maybe just search for "Green" or "green" - sometimes they have underscores or odd capitalisation or spacing.
The search might be case sensitive, if in parentheses, not sure about that.
Your search was "Green Gas Giant", and at least in my Journals it showed "Green gas giant".
