To all the non Brits who are wondering, "Numberwang" is a reference to a UK show called "That Mitchell and Webb Look". According to Google, in this show, there's a fictional television series (inception time !) in which the two contestants (Simon and Julie) call out seemingly random numbers which are occasionally told to be "Numberwang". The rules of the game are left completely unexplained to the viewer, and appear to follow no logic whatsoever.
Man, I love googling UK oddities while waiting for the servers to restart.

You do not seem to take any care about your user base. The game launch client seems to always say (as it does now) Server Status: OK. Yet the game has been unplayable for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Initially, the update was that the game would be down for 40 minutes. Now the game reports that the servers are down and advises to go to this URL for information about the maintenance: http://support.frontier.co.uk. This page has no information about the outage and is generic boilerplate FAQs.
Most players will understand the need for outage and maintenance, but you need to improve the level of quality when you communicate to them.

I hear NumberWang was the pilot show for "Only Connect" - at least I could follow numberwangcome on if you are gonna explain it at least give a taste

@sallymorganmoore It's a QoL thing, but the launcher says "server status OK" even though they're down for maintenance. Could you suggest to the relevant parties that maybe it could reflect what's going on better?
They're not down - every time I ask them if there is an updated client they say 'no', so the servers are up
