Guardian Obelisk Pictograms - Confirmed

You can get piece No. 16 from Vela Dark Region FL-Y D63. The obelisk you need should be ORB+URN.

In relation to piece No. 23 that site seems bugged to me.

I will explain the bugs that I have found with this mission so far. I have completed 23/28 pieces so far. According to the Canonn research page, the sites for pieces No.'s 4,5,15 are bugged in so far that you need to attend these location with a group so the obelisks appear to one of the group members. I talk more about this in a minute. Site No.'s 12 & 23 are 'maybe' bugged. Meaning you may or may not be lucky enough for the correct obelisk to appear whilst at the location ALONE and not in a group.

In relation to the group thing, last night I was at COL 173 SECTOR OD-J B25-2 which is supposed to be the site needing the Thargoid Sensor & Thargoid Probe. One of our group of three found a glowing obelisk. The other two players in the group including me couldn't see that the obelisks was glowing at all. It was just dark and 'normal' looking. Then the player who could see the glowing obelisk scanned it with the correct items and all of a sudden the other two players could now see a glowing obelisk. Weird hey and bugged.

I wish FD would get thier act together and fix this mission. I have invested a considerable amount of time on this one. I have obtained the 16T corrosive resistant cargo rack which took ages and heaps of stuffing about. I have yet to collect the Basilisk or Medusa tissue because I got sick of getting killed (killed 8 times so far). So the mission is hard enough to complete without it being bugged to the point it cannot be completed as intended.

Please fix this mission now....

Now I log in tonight to find that my Ram Tah mission has disappeared completely!!! I look in my left panel under transactions and ?!!! 'No Outstanding Transactions'.... Noooooooo..... Is anyone else having this issue? The discovered logs still appear in the comms panel under my in box.... but no mission?? What gives Ram Tah???!!!

UPDATE: So I headed back into the Meene system and docked. I received the mission again. All I can say is that the codex logs that I have already got, being 23 out of 28 better count..... or I wont be a happy camper!! :(

Synuefe CE-R C21-6 C 1 pylon issue.

Just really want to know if this is a bug or if it’s intentional.

Trying to log anyway to see if FD can clarify - unfortunately struggling to add in the bug forum. I play on PS4 not sure about others.

So just to be clear, even tho the latest mission lists only three systems, you still need the Thargoid samples to complete it? I didn't see any obelisks at any of the sites in those systems with those symbols (thargoid tissue sample)...

Ugh, I just realized I won't be able to do this in my Keelback without removing the fighterbay. :( That makes me quite sad. I assume I have to have them all ready to turn in at once, and can't do it a bit at a time?

Same here ! Plus I have been booted 3 times this morning. I'm going back to Meene to re-collect the mission and if the 6 mil in credits aren't logged I am done with this game.

Happened to me as well.. and I lost all scan - being determined, I redid all the scans and was finally able to complete this objective this past Sat. Lucky I kept notes.

I finished it in entirely solo two days ago. Sites I got the codex entries from were as follows:

WRT number 23, I posted about an error on Canonns site the other day. This is based on having collected stats on two separate runs. Check under the spoiler or follow that link for a site that will actually give it to you.

I don't actually think the combos are bugged (except that "Failed decryption" one, got nothing on that one)... there are three entries that need Relic + Orb, and some sites (like the one you get 23 from) have up to four Relic + Orb obelisks, so people are just getting confused (especially if they're trying to use the Open/PG bug/exploit)

Thank you, it seems I now have a mission I can't complete.
By the way, I think I managed to get a match on a pattern by accident, I didn't receive a confirmation message, but instead I received an empty message from Ram Tah (no voice or text and no title). I am going to assume that was a bug and either I received a duplicate message for a wrong combination or a message for something not in game yet.

You have to either follow an out-of-game guide or use Horizons to complete Ram Tah's missions. For some reason FDEV thinks it's fine to leave content broken for 6+ months with no explanation or even a confirmation that they're aware of it.

Alright I couldn't contain myself and I just set out with my SRV full of random Guardian artifacts and scanned all Obelisks in Ancient Ruins (not the bases), and some actually let me progress the mission.
So, I guess you can, if you want to, go out with your cargo bay full and start testing.
I think the rules have changed and you simply have to have the artifacts in your cargo, they don't have to be in order MAYBE? IDK, someone with more time, patience, especially patience, and a well-organized mind, can go out and test it. Unfortunately, I believe all those types have already completed the mission, BUT if you properly scan an obelisk with the right codes, it gives bonus data. So, if you are grinding obelisks, please do us a favor and write down which codes grant which [obelisk patters], so we don't have to do my brute force attack method.
