console transfer cmdrs beware of odyssey.

So, i did the transfer around 10 hours ago, everything with the transfer was surprisingly stress free (for frontier) and it gave me the confidence to buy the odyssey dlc to try it out. Odyssey Orange sidewinders before the game even loads past what i presume is a cutscene!?! all my cmdr info is there, it just wont load up. Horizons still works fine.
I have rebooted. Rebooted router. Uninstalled everything and reinstalled fresh. All same results.
I have launched a support ticket and will update this thread with news.

I transferred my save over last night and loaded up Horizons 4.0.

I have an ASUS gaming laptop (which I don't normally use for gaming) - 8GB RAM, Intel Core i7-7700HQ 2.8GHz, GTX 1050 - but it is 4 years old at this point. I think I need a more powerful machine to play Elite. Performance was horribly juddery and I'm stuck at 1080p resolution.

It's been a much, much worse experience than playing on Xbox so far, where I was expecting it would be about the same.

I'll give it a proper go on 3.8 and see if it's any better then. But eventually I'd like to follow the story in game and probably grab Odyssey. At which point... New machine

So, it was 100% this that was issue for me. Thanks so much for pointing it out. Works perfectly with the older drivers....problem now is some other games dont!?! hahaha

Apparantly it's a bug in the drivers and other game suffer from the same problem, there's nothing FDEV can do about it.
