CTD when changing suits (managing loadouts) and other places

If so, here is the problem I'm facing for 2 hours :

When I'm leaving FSD mode near a planet site and enter the atmosphere (I'm about 30km away from the site) my game crash to desktop "EliteDangerous64.exe has encountered a problem that it cannot continue from".

When I try to launch the game and then try to join the session I spawn and get like 1 second (see screenshot) then it crash again. I can't do anything at all and I don't even know if I can leave this place because I can't play anymore for now.

Went back into Horizons again, then back into Odyssey and flew the remaining 20 km to the Odyssey settlement and landed ok. Phew!

Yup gonner try this but I gotta save binds first cos switching to Horizons sometimes zeros my hotas/mouse binds. Loathe to do it hehe.

I assume it's related : since today's update, two differents cmdrs on two different computers got a CTD as they were about to get dropped in an onfoot CZ. Now they CTD everytime they start the game.

So I switched to Horizon so that I could be back at the station, then started Odyssey again, and CTD when I tried to get to the loadout management screen.

2 CTD today both when i clicked on the weapons panel in two different Pioneer stores.
And why do ppl say the update this morning was small, mine did not start till 40 mins after i clicked upgrade it then took 3 hours to finish, i now wish i had'nt bothered.

I know one guy had issues in Pioneer stores. I'll check a terminal though.

I can scroll through the entire menu fine, but as soon as I look at the Manticore BAM I’m back at the desk top with an error message.

I just downloaded the short update this morning, and now I cannot glide to planets. Furthermore, I cannot send core dumps to FC because I get this message about seting the byte length in the header. Did FD beta test the recent updates? Reloading the Odyseey game while 80km over a planet, I get crashed again and again. To get out, I load Horizons which is stable, and I can escape the crash trap. Thanks FD.

Now that's interesting, I don't have a manticore rifle on any of my loadouts and am having no problems, do people having problems have manticore rifles?

Dragsham just to reassure you, this is already with us on team side - supporting with the progress thread - adding more to the ticket at this point won't make the fix come in any faster BUT I can assure you we are working on things o7

If it helps, there's something in the pioneer supplies weapon screen at Rondon Beacon in the Chaxiraxi system that reliably causes a crash for me

Lot of CTD after glide, in settlement during combat, immediately after restart the game, also tried restart the PC, but still CTD. I have to log on to Horizons (3.8) to leave the planet.

I cannot change loadouts (3) without Odyssey crashing. Please test your product improvements before this update fails the game.

I am VERY sure that the issue is something regarding one or a few handheld weapons either missing a model or something with their data is corrupted and cannot load in. It would explain why you would crash near settlements too, as the guards could have one of those types of weapons that have the missing and-or corrupted data.

This happens. Nothing is perfect. We wait they'll fix it. I'm just thankful the forums are their foremost way of addressing any serious problems

I disembarked at a station and CTD. Character was wearing Dominator class 3 with 2 Manticore rifles. Not sure what the handgun was.

Got home, fired up the PC, applied the mandatory "upgrade", additionally verified the game files out of the launcher and started the game.
The game started fine, no more waiting 30-45s for a completely black screen (!) and the crotch menu worked fine so far, but at that time didn't try to open any suit loadouts.
Came here for the latest news on this, read something about Pioneer Supplies and gave it a try... et voilá... a nice an hefty CTD...

Sad...
