Why a wombat?

It's a burrowing animal with large eyes and a cute face who is known for "cubic" art. Wombats are infamous for their cube-shaped poop.

I would love them, even more than the raccoon, but I think having both in the same pack would be kinda repetitive

As long as it isn't entirely small mammals I'll enjoy it. There are plenty of nocturnal reptiles and birds to choose from if it is a nocturnal pack of course.

It's either woodlands or nocturnal. Wombat, skunk and raccoon confirmed.
Red fox or tasmanain devil heavily hinted at.
Both themes apply to all of them.

Tassie can be ruled out because Jens‘ story took place in Norway

This is fantastic news if it’s true! This game NEEDS more small animals, and Europe, NA and Oceania all need more representation. Also, these animal choices really tie in with the update having a focus on ‘ambassador animals’!

I really hope the tassie and wombat turn out to be true. Not going to lie I’ll be bummed if Oceania gets the shaft again in a theme that seems perfect for it. Otherwise this just feels like North America 2.

I'm honestly hoping for woodland rather than nocturnal DLC - it would be pretty annoying for me personally if all the nocturnal animals were basically temperate forest species, when there are so many options from tropical rainforests, grasslands and deserts.

Doesnt really matter, in the Tims story, a skunk met a wombat, that doesnt make sense either.
