Are proper flying animals (birds, bats, etc.) and proper marine animals (fish, marine mammals, etc.) going to be saved for Planet Zoo 2? I would like to know as the wait for these is excruciating and I feel somewhat teased as these are critical zoo animals that aren't in the game

After all this time, do you really expect them to answer?

Honestly though, I haven't gotten my hopes up for birds even once. It was never promised or guaranteed. If they unveil them one day, then I'll get a pleasant surprise, and if not then I haven't lost anything.

I don’t think frontier will ever share plans for the future. Very smart in a way as no one wants to promise something that ends up not working out. I think marine animals is a definite no. A manatee would be a success alone in terms of marine animals. Aves although definitely possible may also be a stretch. Imo the problem is jwe2 the aves and marine format just seems to big and awkward for pz. The dinosaurs in that game definitely fill the exhibits much better then modern sized birds although it may work as it’s always hard to implement real life accuracy in games. I’m about 50/50 on aves at this point.
