I just really, really hope these larger exhibits will be highly customizable and not awkward looking from the outside. I feel like anything outside of a null barrier option is going to be highly restrictive in terms of building. We want to put our flying creatures in more than just a cardboard box. The screenshot with the bat currently looks quite awkward if I'm honest, like it's the usual exhibit box with thin walls, despite looking like a large cave from the inside. But based on the image it's very hard to tell what the real structure is. The walkthrough pathing looks like a grid, which is strange. However, the angle is kind of off, so it might just be distorted by the camera or angle, or be something else entirely. We're just going to have to wait and see. I choose to believe that if the new exhibit system sucks or is restrictive, people will complain and Frontier will listen.

I know the prior stream had all of the hints…but I could’ve sworn they were trying to make a castle or something in an earlier stream. Almost as if they were hinting at the Transylvania-esque nature of the build objects.

Guys! in the exhibit there is feeding!!! It's amazingggggg! huh I'm going to love this dlc so MUCH!

Good:
  • Trash Panda Rebellion Succeeded
  • Mr World Wide has become an established nickname in these forums
  • More Europe and Oceania with a borderline perfect North America (where birds though)
  • Looks like one of the best scenery packs for building
  • Completed the trifecta of the biology class foxes


Bad:
  • People are judging way to hard and way to early, like allways
  • 3 small carnivores in one pack is a bit much, but indiviually all 4 animals are a great addition

Conflicted:
  • i dont want flying animals to be refined to the clunky and uncreative exhibit system :(
  • BUT i can recognise this as a necessary first step to test flying out, but by the love of good dont chain them to exhibits in the long run thats just the killer of usability and variety. I really hope there will be an update in the future to make the bat available as an habitat animal aswell that we can freely build for and can have them fly around in our tropical halls freely.


Overall, good maybe even great pack depending on the quality of the scenery, but im cautious for aviarys in the future

I am so fricking happy to see the trash panda made it in. I am EXCITE! They're pests where I live but I still love them to death!

Very happy to see skunks and bats too. A skunk never crossed my mind but now that its announced I am excited for it too. Nice to see smaller animals I can fit in the smaller spaces between big ticket animals I have no plans for yet.

I really like new plants especially colorful digitalis plants (foxglove plant) which have magical powers in my folk culture and beliefs and are simply beautiful.

The new Romanian building stuff will nicely work with European pieces that we already have. Props for that. I guess the badger castle build by Tim was not so random after all 😜

Going back to career scenarios was the best idea ever!!! I don’t like to play under pressure so I have never used the times scenarios but all the career scenarios from the base game were really fun and I still remember how addictive in a positive way they were.

Also red fox with many color options, raccoon and wombat seems like a nice supplement to the existing regional packs (Europe, NA and Australia). We have been talking for ages about missing species in these packs and I think that fox, raccoon and wombat were always the most popular and mentioned by many.

Similarly to wetlands pack (except for capybara - here we don’t have a star species like this) the mediocrely popular animal roster in this pack makes me think that the future of the game is safe with many more packs to come.

They probably save more popular species for the next pack ideas and I think that I’m ok with that - as long as at least 20 first species from the meta wishlist will find it’s way into the game.
Including less popular species also gives hope to oddballs like striped hyena or Père David’s deer which makes me very happy.

Changing the regular and expected animal Pack to the regular pack was a very nice curveball.
It seems like we would need to wait only 2 months more for the winter pack which is absolutely great. This could be the animal pack this time with 7 presents for Christmas.

Last but least the bats 🦇 OMG that really made me happy and opened the door wide enough for the birds to flew in 🤩
A totally new, game changing feature is exactly what I have been waiting for. Next birds and manatees after that. Everything is possible in planet zoo.

Again huge surprise and such an amazing success Frontier 😍 thank you for being so great 🙏🏽
