Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Well the system I'm in at the moment has 3 planets with bio, one with 8, one with 6, and one with 5. So it's probably just RNG messing with you.
Typical isn't it? I just landed on a planet with six   *

* Edit: allegedlty...:censored:

EDIT 2: All those q's... trying to roll left but nothing is happening. Oh, wait :D

Inciidentally, this systm has two planets with bios, both of which has six. After much exploring and teeth gnashing I've found... two:

I'm finally getting somewhere with Felicity re the Dolphin FSD upgrade now. I just completed level 3 with her and got the jump range up to about 41lys. Looks like all I need now is one more chemical distillery for level 4 and I already have what's needed for level 5.

The manufactured mat trader I went to before I arrived at Farseer this time seems to only want the more obscure stuff in exchange - ie the kind of stuff I was finding on my last prospecting trip, so it's off once more in the Dolphin then to land on a few more promising planets with lava spouts etc.

I might give that crashed Anaconda a try sometime, but anyway I enjoy landing on the planets and finding stuff so I'll carry on with that for now...

The Cobra MkIII is good for that as well.
Well, that is my mat collecting ship. Have done it quite some time like this, but still, it is too time consuming for me. Had it happen more than once that I ran out of time and a bulk of the materials disappeared before I could collect them. And usually, with the Limpets, the first materials are in the bin before the data core scan is done.

Speaking of material collecting, I should be going out there again to catch some more stuff to get all the upgrades finalized...

You mentioned your Dolphin in another post, coincidentially, mine is more or less ready for duty, too. Took it on the trip back from Deciat to Suhte. I have to say the manufacturer of this ship did something really right in terms of thermal management. I chose the shielded FSD, more or less out of habit, as most of my other ships do have that too. In this configuration, you almost have to plunge head first into the star to get it to overheat.

Don't forget the experimental effect!

After lodging my complaint with this settlement, I ran out the 500M and recalled the ship. But it didn't land. But, I still boarded. I am not sure if it is a new upgrade of the ship or a bug but it worked fine! They even courteously held their fire til boarded!

What a rush! Lakon ships it every time!

I received reckless flying fine afew times, wondering is there a driving equivalent.... :ROFLMAO:

In this particular and some jurisdictions. Since my visit pertained to a nasty mission of killing 16 of them and pillaging their stores, they had bigger fish to fry than parking enforcement. And it was the big THEM who got fried!

NGC 6530 Sector ZE-X b2-0 is a dark system, not much light there, and the station, Helgrind Gateway, doesn't have much tritium, it replenished slowly though, and it doesn't show as a tritium provider in INARA, as if miners were selling their loads there. Useful but slow.

There are plenty of systems with icy ringed corps around, away from pirats if you have the patience for mining, in Traikaae PH-O b6-4, planet 1, there are two tritium hotspots...

Deep Charge experimental effect make a difference too...

Reducing my Limplets stock to 500 tons saved 11,592 tons (?) of space for Tritium in the Carrier cargo, meaning that because I was traveling with a huge amount of limplets on board, I was never able to top up the carrier with an optimal load of tritium, good to know, Carrier Tritium consumption is 75t if empty and 135t when full, 11,592 tons extra Tritum load, is that <> 85+ Jumps?

Anyway, from now on I'll ne looking at the number of limplets I have on board...

No doubt. Everything looks the same. I'll head out chasing some Stratum about 200 yards away only to get there and find out it's rocks.
I usually use either my ship or SRV with the fire group that contains the composition scanner active this will beep if pointed at anything interesting in range which is around 200 metres, if on foot I use my Aphelion rifle which was fitted with a telescopic sight when I bought it this gives a magnified view (full screen not just the scope).

Would be helpful if you could change the colour of the lights of your suit or SRV...

Just wondering... Did you try to activate night vision? I feel like it could help even in the bright daylight...
The trouble with night vision is it doesn’t work on everything, Bacterium Colonies rarely show up using it for me at least. But some things do glow much brighter than the surroundings.

Yes but the bigger the FSD you apply it too the more fuel it uses per jump so you end up going further per jump but for fewer jumps due to fuel use. Mass Manager works differently so avoids this but doesn’t give as much boost on smaller FSDs the transition point is around size 4 & 5.

You don't have the armory installed? You carry limpets in your hold? How...strange. :)
