That happened to me, now I carry two in my Anaconda. I was doing the Guardian grind for the FSD booster in my Krait Mark II and didn't park it close enough for the missile defense system to engage the skimmer missiles and had the SRV destroyed and I was killed. I had to go back to the bubble to buy another so now I have a dual bay SRV setup.
This is something I consider doing as well for my exploration vessel(s).
For the Stargazer, this is not feasible, but it is designed as a material collection vessel.
I am not sure that the bit I have put in italics is in the right order, the drinks seem far to far down the list.
No, the order is completely correct. You would not want to spend more time than necessary in a suit full of crap. Which reminds me that I forgot to mention the shower... 😅
And that drink would be most likely some sort of coffee, tea or soft drink. 🍵

Fascinating.
And congrats for reaching this milestone.

Fit a 4G Planetary Vehicle Hangar, you got two SRV, not that I get blown by volcanos that often but in some planets, I can end up stocked by obstacles I can't escape from and had to self-destruct a couple of time, also SRV cannot be repaired from a ship, and you have one spare to avoid breaking down...

Correct, but you can self-repair the SRV while you're in it (right hand menu, synthesis, 3 levels - two of them with improved hull strength). Some SRV racing experts manage that while being airborne - or falling down a mountainside (a.k.a. SRV base jumping).
I want what you guys are smoking.

The SRV is repaired every time you reboard your ship. It’s not refueled, but it is repaired.

The way I drive I make a lot of use of that feature.

One of the useful things about Robigo Mines runs is the time it takes to do one loop is about the same amount of time it takes for a carrier jump.
So while Quain waits for a carrier jump, I log into my alt account and do one Robigo run.
One or two runs (3 at best) is worth it, after that it pays less than running a 9 cabins conda from CEOS which is only one jump per rotation.

If it wasn't for fear of doing it for nbothing (scans, failed missions, fine and detention), I'd buy another Anaconda and fit it with cabins, even stock and not engineered it would do the trick, from Rodigo I run out of clients after a while and the trip is longer, although it pays relatively well, some trade routes can pay better for 2 jumps.

Having said that, I'm trading at 2/3rd of the credit I was making a week or so aago, looks like the market is depressed a bit, I saw routes at 90 million/h, now the best I can find is 63 or so...

I beg to differ... I think @Codger is correct here: the SRV will be repaired but not refuelled. At least, that's my experience anyway.
There was a known bug preventing the SRV to be repaired by its mothership, personally I came to the conclusion that it was necessary to have two onboard because I never saw it repaired after boarding.
There are clear disparities when it comes to player experience even with the same release of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to corrupted or non-updated files in the instalation folder interfering with the servers...

Mine gets refueled every time I dock it at my ship, if I remember correctly. No clue where that fuel comes from, though...
The SRV can be refuelled and re ammoed by synthesis whilst driving or it happens automatically when you dock your ship at a station with refuel/restock capabilities.

Repairs can also be done by synthesis while driving (I am not sure any mere human could do it in flight), the economics of repairing it to a more robust state are a little unclear to me as I think you lose that if auto repair takes place when you load the SRV back into your ship.
