Potential Animal Roster Up To 2024

So I tried to come up with a potential DLC lineup for the next years. I know it's a little optimistic but why not

Winter 2022: Aviary Pack
Spring 2023: Islands Pack
Summer 2023: Rainforest Animal Pack
Fall 2023: Deserts Pack
Anniversary Animal 2023: Golden Lion Tamarin
Winter 2023: Highlands Animal Pack
Spring 2024: Coastal Pack
Summer 2024: Grasslands Animal Pack
Fall 2024: African Adventure Pack
Anniversary Animal 2024: Japanese Serow
Winter 2024: Woodlands Animal Pack
Spring 2025: Community Animal Pack (Farewell Pack)

So the community pack consists of 20 animal that represent all the 20 previous DLC's.

So much animals which we still miss and would be nice for the game. Both lists from you are great and I would say the packs include most of the species which are requested or fill some niches. Especially putting the Dik Dik into the grasslands pack would make me very happy. #Team Dik Dik

In my opinion this is basicly the perfect DLC roadmap. My only nitpicks are that giant salamander, who are like twice the size of a green iguana, are way to big to be standard exhibit animals. And manatees are not super likely without a full aquatic expansion

A lot of these feel like they're overlapping too much. I don't see us getting an Islands Pack and a Coastal Pack, or a Grassland Pack immediately before an African Adventure Pack.

Islands and Coastal overlaps about as much as, or even less than, Aquatic and Wetland does. The majority of highly requested island animals are not aquatic (and also live quite deep inland on very large islands), while all the animals in a coastal pack would be.

Maybe you can add an animal from the Galápogos Islands for the Island Pack, ideally the Galápogos fur seal. I just feel like that would be necessary due to it being one of the regions of the world that come to mind when I think of islands.

Also, a coyote for the desert pack would be great, but I'm willing to debate that. They're very adaptable to different biomes, so limiting them to the desert wouldn't be too fitting. Maybe an addax, Arabian oryx, or mule deer instead?

For me its the other way around . Since every zoo has birds, but not everyone has an aquarium ( in the sense of dolphins and so on)

for me, i was really exited with birds, but now, i just want an aquarium pack. There are more possibilites and more things to do with aquarium animals, while birds, if made like bats, will cycle animations and be practicaly uninteractive.

I know python has limitations and it was hard work, it just seems lackings.

Aquarium animals might be exhibit animals, too. It would make more sense to go that way anyway; Frontier wouldn't need to add a bunch of aquarium assets if they made them exhibits, and the vast majority of aquarium animals are kept indoors where the weather, temperature, and atmosphere can't upset the balance of the tanks.

Well it makes sense. Presumably the assets for the animal exist somewhere; it's more economical to use them than to leave them in the trash heap.

Would absolutey Support the idea of Aquariums, like litteral aquariums. While i dont really need stuff like dolphins and belugas in the game, fish tanks would be something id welcome with open arms. Im imagining something like the standard exhibit but instead of frogs and co it would house a school of piranhas. Or something really cool: a giant tank with the amazonian giant like arapaima and redtail catfish

I think that for the most part these things make sense but I must say if they don't add sea turtles, sharks and exhibit fish, I will be genuinely heartbroken. IMO they're even more fundamental than flying birds
