Sahara & the Nile is still growing, this time I added a big aviary that houses flamingoes and scimitar-horned oryxes. Rather annoying to build, but the result was worth it. I just wish I could add some more birds in here. Video below.

Just a little shot of the area so far, where you can sense a part of every habitat. Currently working on an enclosure for fennec foxes and then this section should be finished.
It wouldn't be a Sahara area without the Fennec Fox! Last enclosure for this part of the zoo.
Fine-tuning the Sahara & the Nile area with backstage facilities, toilets, landscaping, and minor details. It is not often I manage to get a larger area of a zoo to a point where it feels almost finished. Looking forward to getting the rest of the park up to the same standard.

Just a little update on THE DRYLANDS, since I haven't posted in 2 weeks.
Currently working on redoing/expanding some backstage areas as well as some older habitats. The process has been a bit slow so far, and I have changed my plans about it a lot along the way, so I'm not sure if I can get a good video out of it at the moment. But I will be sure to show it off one way or another when it is finished. WIP pic below.
The wait for a new DLC has slowed down my motivation a bit, and I also need to try and finish a standalone bear habitat for the ongoing competition.
So it might still be a little before I do major progress here.

While redoing parts of the Kalahari & Namib Deserts area I ended up with a spot for a new and better meerkat habitat. I turned it into a little video as well.

I recently learned you can find beavers in some North American Desert Rivers. Finally, a reason to build for these guys! Video below the pics.
Just a quick tour video (1 minute) of a cave for Egyptian Fruit Bats placed in between the two African areas.
The plan was a speed-build video but I felt like it was mostly just a bunch of placing rocks which got a bit boring, so I went with a quick video instead, which I hope can also work for the competition.

Deleted an old boring bridge and created some slopes instead to bring guests closer to the waterfall. I am once again redesigning the big central habitat in the NA section. First, it housed pronghorns, then bison and now we are bringing back the pronghorns. A video is in the making.
The bison moved out of North America's biggest habitat and it is now redesigned into The Pronghorn Panorama. A few pictures and a video:

I have been productive over the weekend, and found use for the viewing shelter that used to be part of the Bison habitat. Turned it into a simple little skunk habitat. I even made it into a blueprint: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2888632334
