A big problem with on foot gameplay is that there isn't much to do without having to travel across a system which breaks up gameplay too much and actually degrades the sense of scale because actual gameplay takes place in smaller areas (settlements and then bases) separated by a travel system...

I've been enjoying doing some On Foot Conflict Zones every now and then, but I have a couple suggestions I'd love to see implemented sometime in the future.
- Looting Ammo from dead enemies:
Most of my conflict zones just end with me locating one or two ammo boxes and hovering over and over...
IDK if that only me but sometimes I try doing some on-foot mission and mostly I'm dead in few seconds...
Number of respawn enemies is insane - they dropping like 5-6 from small ship and hitting so hard that even if I manage to take down at least few, someone put me down anyway...

In damaged stations, we could be allowed to disembark and go through some variable or procedural living areas and put out fires, open stuck doors, and remove debris to help some NPC civilians get to safety. If you came in a ship with passenger cabins, then you could even transport the civilians...
