Moving platforms right now:
You have a large amount of possible movement options for those 3 platforms already.
For the turning platform you can make full turns, continous turns, half, quarter or abrupt swings, but the platform will always return to its original state.

I would like to see the addition of motion sensors, They would just work like coaster triggers, but instead of the coaster triggering it, guest will when they walk by.
The motion sensor lets you activate anything that you could also be triggered by coasters: Screens, fireworks, audio...
