That doesn't prevent an orbit, of course - it just means it has to be a low one. It'll be interesting to see if the same thing is possible with the jetpacks.

I'm sure someone will manage it, but I don't expect it to be easy. I'm just speculating, but I doubt CMDRs will be as fast on foot as the SRV or have jetpacks that rival SRV thrusters.

lol can you imagine the panic in the eyes of a CMDR happily boosting into Orbit..... and then seeing a naughty CMDR firing an evil Refuel Limpet at the poor guy?

I mean our Remlok suits are comfy.... but 1 ton of liquid forced into it?
That'd be messy..... real messy
