well i must say it seems to have been the MOST POINTLESS UPDATE EVER next to nothing has been fixed and what seems to have been worked on, has been made worse lol well done i can't wait for the next big update just to see what else can be screwed up

and the Black 'Mission Target' lettering Colour?

This is a strange one. I would have thought priority vs fix time on that one should have made it worth squeezing in. Its a fairly annoying one and assuming the UI colour is using some sort of XML or something for layout (or hell, even hardcoded) it really should take no more than 1 minute to change to any contrasting colour (although one assumes its based off the same colourscheme elements as everything else, so it just lost its class for some unknown reason).

I don't know (we don't know), its either FD really didn't consider it important enough, or they did assign someone to it, who took a quick look, everything looked fine and they reported back with "I have no idea, its something strange, will require some time to investigate deeper", at which point management said "Nope, we need you on X, no time for that now".

Surprising, but possible.

Totally Agree

okay, so random damage is still happening for interdiction, and anything small and deadly is pretty much the same.

Seems a little easier for me. Hint: if interdicting NPCs, when the tether is established, immediately drop the throttle to zero. ED will match speeds with the target NPC anyway, and the zero throttle means much less damage if it fails (or succeeds). Same thing if you're interdicted and gonna lose, drop the throttle, once out of SC your FSD will recharge much faster and damage again is much lower.

I guess they are really aiming to become an Esport now, we are even getting the "Literally Nothing" patches CSGO has.

Too bad this isn't even new stickers..., I mean decals.

Greetings Commanders...

  • Improvements to interdictions
Zac

I would love to no what the above statement means?
Ok I will explain Since 1.4 update i have not been able to interdict ANYTHING!
Before I used to be able to do so in about 60 percent of the time.
I use a Python with a top line interdiction system I think it is a a2 but not sure.
Now this update does not improve it.
Infact MY RSI is now playing up.

IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS DIFFICULT?

Somebady wanted to know what I meant by moving GOAL POSTS this is what I mean.

chillout

Upgrade came with nice timing, upgrade to Win10 on (WAY underspec) laptop completed safely (!)

ED upgraded and the basic game is still running smoothly, on a quick dash between stations.

Will have to do any mining bug tests later as now I need a lie down, after installing a whole new OS underneath existing apps and programs ..

I'm just relieved to be alive!

"Speculative fix for mining hopper with unallocated ore"

Dont they have testers? Releasing a fix based on speculation? Shoddy

I am aware of the submission process. I'm more interested in how interdiction (as the aggressor) goes; speeds do seem to vary, but yes it's not quite the same tussle.

Edit: interdictions are now a bit more hit/ miss; they have made changes again, but to what exactly is hard to tell. need more time to figure it out. But I'm not sure it was worth stating that interdictions had been made a little more forgiving.
