Patch Notes Update 1.6 and The Engineers (2.1) update incoming

I downloaded Horizons today and am patiently waiting for this update but do I need to download anything else after the update has completed?
ahh the french again... lol
Now what I have to say is, scheduling the patch on a Thursday wasn't exactly a great idea. Now the entire technical staff will be burned out by tomorrow, and then there will be weekend. Three days right after launch in which support will be severely affected. There is a reason Patch Day is usually Tuesday...

I do enjoy the ED community. I've combed through this forum, and have found little complaints. If this was World of ........ then there would be all kinds of chaos. 
Although I have no idea what is really changing, and such since I had taken a break for a long while, I am curious about Engineers and Loot and money and pew pew, and and and....oh to hell with it, I am just gonna be shooting at "Enemy Targets" anyways. DENTON PATREUS FTW!!!

So... In the next 2 or 3 hours we will be playing 1.6/2.1? I hope so, 'cause here in Spain is getting dimmer and dimmer and I guess we won't be playing until tomorrow or something like that

Once the update goes live you will be able to download it and then you won't need to download anything else, however, you may need to wait until the servers go online and allow people to connect.

Upside of waiting 10+hrs "Anticipation, excitement, expectation etc.
Downside, (for me), I've re-discovered what fresh air smells like and it scared the hell outa me
Can we have some info on the nature of the problem? Just because the changelog was a bit stingy

I think less in my case, I played on my mates Atari ST first but I only had the Amstrad CPC464 back in those days, it was a nightmare playing on that... Even remembering having to listen to the noise of it loading from a tape (multiple times if it crashed), And then I think I just remember the message when you get killed, tombstone with RIP CMDR JAMESON on it I think?
