Cool stuff, hope it all goes smooth and easy for you.
It is a LOT of hard work to patch a live game client, even more when it is a major patch and not make a mess of it(Just ask Blizzard Entertainment), resulting in a lot of passionate(read ANGRY) players who can not get their fix :D.

The patch notes are so long they won,t be ready before 2.2.

The patch notes are so big they will be patching the patch notes then releasing patch notes for the patch notes, patch notes.

Two questions:

If we already have beta installed, will the patch process copy the majority of the files for that, or do I have to download it all again?

How large is the PC update in terms of space if it has to download all over again?

I think the beta is a separate install so it should be the same install on the main to bring it up to par. After the beta closes you might as well uninstall it to save you the space

Please please have fixed the last couple of bugs especially maps not remembering what tab you were using...please...maybe make patch notes which show what has changed from beta 6?
