This is my first experience updating the PC version. Basing all this on the XB1 version which usually has the update available for download at the same time the servers are down. Launching the current XB1 version prompts the download of the update.
Didn't realize that the PC version update process was so different.
Does the download link appear on the launcher when available or somewhere else?

When update is available launcher will say "upgrade" where it normally says "play". If you have game on steam, steam will start download it automatically if your settings allow automatic download. You may need to restart steam for steam client to start download faster earlier, but usually steam do it not too long after update is made available. 10-20 mins after so by restarting steam after frontier say that we can download update may make it happen little bit faster as steam check for updates when you log in and then every 10-20 min.

There is commodities that can only be found on ice rings like painite, osmium etc are for metal rings. Mining on ice rings work just like mining on other rings. You can mine anywhere on ring or res site. And no new modules needed, so same mining equipment are needed than before.
I've had that one a couple of time... decided to just wait a little bit before refueling x)
What about the crash that occurs planetside when shooting a sentries guarding POIs? Had that a couple of time, each time on the last sentry... pretty frustrating to loose what you'd found cause you were making sure you can cargo scoop the loot by shooting the threats...

It was an app for Iphone which is no longer on the app store. However, the API is still used by a lot of our awesome 3rd party site creators.

Oddly enough, I was searching "hyperspace" to see if they fixed the new stutter issue, so that was the first patch note I read, lol.

Hey Zac do you know if the UI scale slider for VR make it into the launch release?
Provide a graphics option to adjust UI scale in VR with a maximum and default of 0.7 for Vive and 1.0 for Oculus
It appeared in beta 5's patch notes, but didn't actually make it into beta 5 or 6.
Might want to remove it from the compiled notes if its still in internal testing.

Call it the calm before the storm... The storm of posts that begin "nerf/buff this", "Do this or I will quit and take my legions of admires with me!!!", ect. add nausea... about 5 minutes after the first player jumps into their freshly down loaded game

Oh, that one, entirely forgot, had hoped it was an indicator of a companion app being released for iphone/android not just iphone.
There are two lines in there. Will hide them better in future.
