You also have to wait for the timer to run out before you can pay it. Btw what 100cr fine lasts for 9 days? Unless it was a typo. I think my 5000cr murder bounty was 5 days.

I'm not sure that small fines become bounties, but if they do, they will have a timer of 8 minutes before they become a legacy fine, so it's highly unlikely that a player would ever notice that they became a bounty. They would not only have to be playing at the moment the fine became a bounty, but they would also have to be in the system where the bounty was active to notice that they became wanted, and once the 8 minute timer expires, it's gone.

Not small ones. I don't know where the cross-over point is or whether it only happens for certain types of fines, but I hardly ever pay my fines and the only times that they changed to bounties were for the ones where I was caught smuggling, etc. I had over a million in accumulated fines from reckless driving, loitering, assaults, etc. I would have seen my "wanted" flashing on and off like a beacon if those fines changed to bounties.
