11G Landable Planet

So hey guys i just landed on an 11.01g planet, i think it might be a record.

141341

141342

This wasnt exactly by chance O-types seem to throw up the high gravity things, i have been mapping O-types for last week. Havent found the 11.01 spot, maybe in a crator?

Was a bit of a crash landing as i had to avoid the pumpkins at biological 2 site.

l imagine atmospheric planets have higher gravity force. If and when we can land on them, will we get a a new module or different planetary landing process?

Prior to DW2, it was easy to assume there was a hard limit at 10G, since none had been found over that threshold, and then one with 10.6 G was discovered. 11.01 should be a new record!

My EDSM data is a couple of days old, and still showing "10.66" as the current highest landable surface gravity. So once this comes through, it should be the new record for sure.

I've seen 25 g for metallics with atmosphere. Those may just be nope-zones, similar to planets with insanely thick atmospheres.

Cheers for rep guys, i believe G can still get higher, combination of moon size and how close it is to the O-Type is the key.

This metal rich body is only 94k earth masses, the record for an metal rich body is 715k just need the luck i guess.

I did find another 9G before this and an O-Type super giant , must of scanned maybe 70 O-Types before i found this, so its worth checking them out, would love a 15g planet.
