Alright so with the 1993 DLC being pretty much confirmed, I sincerely believe that the below-listed dinosaurs in the game should receive the models/skins from the Jurassic Park trilogy. A JP aesthetic wouldn't be complete without the way the dinosaurs were portrayed in the original movies. Some dinosaurs (like the Mamenchisaurus and Spinosaurus) already have the texture from the original movies, because these dinosaurs didn't make an appearance in either of the JW films. These dinosaurs I leave out of the list. After some research the following dinosaurs have had an appearance in the original JP universe and need a new model/texture (with links to images for examples):
Ankylosaurus - JP3 skin
Brachiosaurus* - JP3 skin
Gallimimus -JP1 skin
Parasaurolophus - JP1/JP3 skin* -JP2 skin
Stegosaurus - JP2 skin - JP3 skin
Triceratops - JP1/JP2 skin* - JP3 skin
Tyrannosaurus Rex - JP1/JP2 Female skin* - JP2 Male skin - JP3 Male skin
Velociraptor - JP1 Female skin - JP2 Male skin - JP3 Gen. 2 Female and Male skin (requires model changes for the skull!)
Notes:
*I personally believe the default Brachiosaurus in JWE is based on the JP1 Brachiosaurus, only remade in HD. The Fallen Kingdom Brachiosaurus looked pretty different compared to the one in JWE so it can't be based off on that. Lastly, this image of the official JP1 Brachiosaurus statue convinced me that the dinosaur in JWE is practically the same.
*There is no clear image of the JP1 Parausaurolophus, other than in this one scene in JP1. Both JP1 and JP3 show this dinosaur to be green, only JP3 gives us a much more detailed look of the dinosaur. Since there are no clear differences I just assume they are both the same dinosaur. I don't think Frontier would bother differentiating the two anyway.
*As with the Parasaurolophus, the JP2 Triceratops doesn't have a clear shot/animatronic that shows the differences with her JP1 counterpart. I therefore think that they share the same texture. Also for the people who may question the texture of the JP1 Triceratops; the JP1 Triceratops looks brownish in the original film, and the reason for that was because the dinosaur was covered in dirt. The true texture was pretty much what you see in that statue screenshot.
*Rexy from JP1 has pretty much the same texture as the Doe in JP2. They're both females with a brown texture and some darker striping along their upper part. Honestly it would be better if Frontier could just change the default T-rex texture to be like the female T-rex in the original JP movies, because they look far better and more detailed than the current "Rexy".
Please let me know if I forgot any dinosaur! I also understand that some dinosaurs like the Corythosaurus or the Spinosaurus don't look 100% like their exact counterparts in the movies; but the important part is that they come very close to the original designs. If Frontier could make them even closer, then I would definetly support that decision, but as of now I don't think it's necessary to mention them in that list. Posted this thread on Reddit as well.
