2.1.03 Patch+New Oculus Rift Driver Update 6-24-2016 -> Recentering Bug?

Wanted to check if anyone else on the forum had any issues with the latest ED patch and the new Oculus Rift (CV1) driver update that popped up yesterday. I'm on Windows 10 (64-bit). After installing both ED and Oculus updates and rebooted, the initial perspective had changed as soon as the the pilot cabin had appeared. At first the center console had appeared about 20 degrees off center to the right and I was unable to compensate for it by recentering using Oculus Home.

I had rebooted the computer once again and relogged into the game. Then I the perspective shifted once again and my pilot was sitting way up in the ceiling, looking down. Using conventional estimates, it was about 1.5-2 meters higher vantage point than normal. Again, recentering did nothing to correct. Physically moving the sensor by about 30 centimeters up from the desk to the same level as my monitor had compensated so that my pilot was sitting in the correct height in the cabin.

I had never experienced anything like this with my setup. I will check it once again when I get home to see what anomaly if anything happens today and report it to FD and/or Oculus Tech Support. Wanted to check if anybody else had experienced similar issues since these updates had been released.

Also, I the server performance had been the worst ever. Severe slowdowns, audio disruptions, frame drops with the hourglass popping up very frequently. I have a very fast fiber connection and these are unusual for me, but in this case they appeared to be server-side issues likely related to the 2.1.03 patch.

The only thing I had last night were audio drops from my thrusters.

They worked but had no sound.

Everything else was fine.

Don't know if it was related to the patch or CV1 update. I didn't file a report since it's never happened before. If it does it again tonight, then I will.

Discovered if I bind a key to Misc \ Reset HMD Orientation then do it, it works but won't through the Oculus app. Hope that sorts you too.

I updated oculus driver yesterday, mines still re-centering but Ive always used the in game recenter bind from when I had my DK2

I hope I don't get this bug because the OH reset is the only thing that works. The in-game one puts me behind the cockpit seat.

I've tried the recalibration routine but keep getting stuck in the fail loop until eventually it works in an unideal position.

I have the exact problem with the Oculus recenter since update.

Which is the ingame recenter bind? Been looking for it but could not find it.

In the grey Rift setting screen, it tells you to recentre your HMD view through the app.

In ED, bind the HMD Recentre function to a key (I'm using the space bar so its easy to smack) and it works fine.
