Sounds like they didn't fix the camera angles for the Courier.

Nor the overbright seat

And I just got Master and bought my first Courier (outside the 2.3 beta) yesterday.

And with the planetary scan missions nerfed (ok, repaired, actually), it'll take a long time to go for Clipper/Cutter.

Manual Launcher update instructions for Steam users.

1) Close Launcher
2) Go to the game folder (C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamapps\Elite Dangerous\)
3) Run EDlaunch.exe and it will update automatically.

Did you install the new launcher to the same folder or let it go to the default path (C:\Program Files x86\Frontier)?

They haven't said missions will be wiped, so should be fine.

Cool, I'm sure they'd have said something but wasn't sure if it was just like accepted we do these days or not. Trying to get Elite (93% Ranger currently) so I can go to the Founders and get some juicy discounted anti-Thargoid stuff - but will slowly saunter back to the bubble, once the risk has been erm, 'fully calculated'.

I agree. That is one of the reasons why I will never get one. Those fins are stupidly big and don't look good at all.

Hey boys and girls, hope all is well. Havnt played in a long while, last activity I remember was scratching aound some engineering then that transporting passnegers 'feature'.

7GB is a fair bit of a download size. Can't you bring out an update for CMDRS who live OFFGRID with only a 4G metered internet connection?????? Well done people, can't wait to download this one! Hoping I can join the THARGOIDS!

I've made 4-5 guilds/clans/factions (all ended no.1 in different games and usually stayed at the top for months/years/to the end of the game/...) , ranging from 60 people to 600, so I've got quite a good idea, what a bloody guild or clan is and how it operates and what tools it should include. I have seen more advanced guild systems in worthless browser games.

if you get a tag, that doesn't mean you're in a clan/guild, you are there only in your imagination.

irrespective of your view on clan/guilds/factions etc - it isn't currently the way it's going in Elite Dangerous - plenty of people have indicated a preference for this feature but as yet it's simply not a priority as far as I can see.

Because, at least on the PC, the actual downloaded volume is not what it says on the launcher.

So, the launcher tells you that it will download 25 GB - but it will (hopefully...) only pull 9 GB trough the pipes and get the remaining 14 GB from the files that are already on the disk.

Updates don't just give you files with new content, they have to replace existing files that have been changed or expanded. Given the amount of fixes listed, that should be a few.

Oops .. i had expected Superlarge Ships like the Narwal, Panther Clipper/Panther LX, and the Type 10 Defender, and the requirement for this would be landing on planets with Athmosphere. Walking on ships, stations, planets (with atmosphere) and driving with the buggys (more than the scarap) on planet, but nothing. So it seems to be, that with this Update nothing fundamentel new is coming. What a pity.

Indepenendtly to these i am curious to see what the new fixed and features will bring to the game, and how long these could be interesing to an extende player. So far ...

I can not wait to play, but I would bet that there were some new planet to land on... Horizon is about planetary landing, all planets not only the airless one and this is the last update

This game will be soon old, and still a game of 1990.
