Hi all!

Anyone know where it's possible to download the ED Launcher (0.4.6324.0 ?) I get the message saying "a new version is available" when clicking 'yes' to download it - nothing happens, not sure why :/ may actually be my machine, wondered if there's a manual download anywhere available?

Really looking forward to this update! Mysterious things ahoy!

Hey there, go to https://www.elitedangerous.com/ at the top of the page under downloads there's a choice of DX11 version or not. Hope that works

tried right click trick, no good still says the permissions thing

check your task manager, is there a "igfxem.exe" running? if yes, kill it, then try again, and give feedback.

Moved the file (installer) into the EDLaunch folder as admin. It then ran.

Have you tried closing the launcher and starting it again to see if it will try to send another email?

Launcher Update process followed as per prompts...now have error messages, no Launcher, no permissions to change anything...meh. Poor.
Giving up for today.

I made it download and run, only to find that all my control settings are purged and what is worse, attempting to change them I invariably forget to put in something crucial and have to redefine the whole lot because it won't save the controls preset!!!!

Sigh.

EDIT: Oh yes. It also resets my graphics settings from glorious 4K to 720p every time I run the game.

Yep found them and a few cutters destroyed, going to go back with a cheaper ship

Huh, no mention of the improved fog effects? I guess you don't list everything in the notes. They were the most obvious improvement I saw in the beta, besides new equipment and mission UI.

Elite update through oculus keeps crashing my pc just when its finished.

Oculus automatically start downloading and installing the update. Then just when the install is finished I get a bluescreen crash. System reboots and the update restarts from beginning. Endlessl install and crash loop.

Need to grind the CG and was hoping to get to seem some goids on roids.
