2.4 Typical weaponry will be useless against Thargoids. Another design flaw?

Fear not though, whiners, I'm sure that after a month of your moaniny & complaining, FDev will buckle once again & make Thargoids no harder to kill than a Competent NPC.

Somehow I tend to doubt that. There will be whining, undoubtedly. However, I suspect Thargoid will be hard to take down and that's as it should be.

...I keep seeing the occasional thread running "Where are they? We want them? They were dangerous! They made our blood freeze because we never knew if we'd survive the encounter."
