2 Months in; "We don't know"

Because what happens to a commodity when you buy a lot of it (like multiple conda loads) if that commodity was priced low. it increases in price. Now what If instead of transporting it I was just buying it and storing it. Now I can sell it back to the station at the higher price and profit without ever leaving.

It's things like this (and not just this) that need to be considered, it's a completely different beast than storing ships.

The difference being that people dont constantly get to see they've been lied to and all that weird stuff we've seen. They're working on the game, and tell very little. Its a balancing act, and if you would prefer it the other way around there is always CZ. Regardless of your opinion about the level of communication, its still a fact that any discussion about whether its correct or not to not have storage (yet) is pointless if we dont know why we dont have it.

Its a simple point, really.

Stand corrected for the Engine, don't remember where I got this mis-info.
The "I don't know" comes from the Community Manager, if this is not representative of what comes from the development team then I fear the problem is even bigger than we could imagine.

In terms of communication, whatever feedback they get is absolutely normal. If the community gets sentimental about whatever announcement it only shows care and dedication to the team. It doesn't matter what the reaction from the crowd is. You can not under no circumstance as a company jump to this absolute false conclusion that cutting the communication will offer any positive outcome.
If something is misunderstood then clarification is in order. Cutting communications is what I expect from a child pouting because they didn't like what they heard.

Communication isn't about making promises. The premise that one would feel lied to because "communication" is false.

I have to insist that my critic lies in the time it takes to make a decision here. The idea that a decision still hasn't been made is beyond ridiculous.

Discussion is all about exchanging information and getting a better understanding. Your point only strengthens that the lack of communication is a fundamental issue.

There's no good argument against storage that can't be addressed with reasonable limits or a rental fee structure.

The only exception might be bombing a station with UAs or bio waste. And this can be solved with a daily cap per CMDR.
