24/7 hour ticket game support

OP,

Something to bear in mind is that with 24/7 support it wouldn't necessarily mean that your problem would be fixed any quicker.

It's not as if patches of hot fixes would be released any quicker or sooner than they currently are.
 
With what I'm about to say, I'm not implying that anyone above has trivial issues they would like some resolution for, but there are folk out there who have raised tickets because they couldn't find a particular faction that they'd earned a bounty for.

It doesn't need too much of a stretch to assume that there are a number of tickets in the system that really shouldn't be there, and are only there as a result of some players either not reading the manuals, not spending time to understand a particular game mechanic (or ask about it on these forums), or because they need someone to pick up their teddy from out the pram.

Just sayin...
 
I'm still waiting on a ticket from January. The thing is, it's not really a big issue at all (for my ticket). It would be nice to hear back though, even if it's a "thanks for the bug report".

I'm kind of surprised this game is not a monthly payed subscription (not necessarily in it's current state -which I still love). Even it's it's not the normal $15 dollar range, I would think that a small monthly fee would provide more for them and even pay for more support.
 
No, most MMO's have about a 3 day turn around on tickets. Then again, most MMO's have paid subscriptions too, and aren't run by small British companies based in Cambridge.

Actually the greater number by *far* is the f2p ones. In the west 4-5, maybe 6 have subs still. WoW, Wildstar (which has a plex option), EvE (plex available), Ultima Online (Seriously) and Runescape (has a f2p area and a much larger paid sub area) to my knowledge.
 
24/7 support means the pizza deliver guy would have to give up his tips in order to answer phones and emails in a reasonable amount of time.
 
They usually get back to me pretty quickly, though for the latest one I've submitted (my ship was replaced with a Sidewinder - possibly the most pressing ticket I've submitted so far) it's been longer than usual.
