2nd Anniversary Update

I wonder what Frontier has planned for the 2nd anniversary update? Since the Theme Makers Toolkit isn't apart of the anniversary update. I'm having a feeling that the 2nd anniversary update will be bigger then last year's. Just wondering on what everyone thinks.

I think you may be getting ahead of yourself. Not saying it won't happen but to already have the mindset that it's definitely coming and it 'will be bigger than last year's' once again is just going to set yourself up for disappointment when there's been zero evidence of any free content update coming. The thememakers toolkit is realistically the only thing I am expecting to come before the end of the year. It was only a month or so ago we had a free content/feature update so my advice would be not to get your hopes up.

I'm pretty certain that the thememaker's toolkit is the only anniversary update we will get this year and maybe even the last update this year[wink].
But Frontier likes to do nice surprises and we can still hope that they have more stuff in store already finished for us[tongue]

I'm thinking Frontier will surprise us again with the Anniversary stream tomorrow. I can't see them doing a anniversary stream without showing us anything new [wink]. If they don't announce anything new for the 2nd anniversary then that will be very disappointing.

I soft agree... Remember a few weeks ago when Sam stated the 2 year anniversary wouldn't go by unnoticed? Ofcourse he could be referring at the TMT but ... Don't know, maybe it's wishfull thinking but i have good hopes there will be a little something.

Even if it was just one new flat ride I would be happy. At least it shows that Frontier isn't giving up on Planet Coaster. Also with the release of TMT Frontier has more time to add more flat rides and roller coasters. Fingers crossed

i’ve learned not to speculate. i’m sure this is associated w/ the anniversary since It’s within 3 days of it but beyond that...well I’ll leave that up to u guys!

I'm not expecting anything to be honest. That way if they do actually do something I'll be pleasantly surprised.

oh ok don't we usually have someone from the team who make the game sitting in on streams when they have something to do with new content. As this anniversary stream is Bo, Mark and Chante I feel like it's going to be more of a lets looks at what people have created stream.

Not always I remember a couple of streams they did and Bo was in them and they announced new game content. We will just have to wait and see what they announce in today's anniversary stream [wink]

My best guess for accuracy:
* Some more scenery
* Another transport ride
* Maybe a coaster type?
* Some more paid DLC announcements
* A wall of angry comments about the lack of rides
* People rushing to defend against said angry comments.

My hopeful guess:
* Several New Flat Rides
* Some more water rides --> Maybe boats in the style of go-karts
* Water slides.
* Carnival Games

No chance at all but hey I want it anyway:
* Weather
* Ability to blow up roller coasters....

I recommend to keep your expectations low; that way anything new will be a pleasant surprise.

My guess is that we're going to see some gorgeous creations from the community, and the livestream introduction of Steggs / Mark (based on the schedule).

Looks like something is coming, just checked the steam db. There seems to have been some updates over past couple of hours.

I just noticed that too. Super excited to see what it is. I doubt it that all that activity would be for the new TMT since that is just a web-site. So just maybe the activity on steam db is for the Anniversary update. [wink] Frontier is keeping a tight lid on this.
