SCB/HS = shield cell and heat sink.
RAM = 4 pips to sys.
RUN = 4 pips to eng.
ROCK = 3 pips to wep.

Using voice attack without voice to control the 4 button macros. Created a batch file that starts voice attack, open broadcast and Elite launcher with one click from the start bar. Works great!

Bravo Sir!
There's some deep bespoke thought put into those buttons.
Six presses on "Prev Sub" and you've targeted the Power Plant. And there's no "next sub" button because "meh who cares".
Same Same for fire groups.

Missile Lock cover for Silent Running. Classy.
I don't agree that Cargo Scoop needs a missile lock cover. Why not put "Jettison All" under that cover?
Cargo Scoop, Landing Gear and SRV Handbrake would make a nice row of three somewhere.

I'm nit picking - it's a beaut design.
Hats off, nicely played.

Edit: also Heat Sink - Chaff - SCB is another row of three defensive group.

This thread is just mean to us Xbox cmdrs the closest we have to hotas is a vague hint on thrust masters Facebook page that we may be getting one at some point .
In fact in these days of political correctness I demand everybody stop using them until they are available to all.
My first time trying to be pc I'm doing it right aren't I ? :)

Aixelsyd and DarkPaladin, I'm very impressed. I'd really like to do this project but I don't have access to a 3d printer. Any chance of getting one printed for a fee? Or does anyone know where I could get one printed in the UK?

Cool mod.. made on for myself too work alongside cheaper stick. Its a little warn and a lot dirty ><, haven't got a 3d printer to make a case :(
Maps 44 buttons (via modes) and fits in on hand. The short travel thumb stick is relay good for thrust in combat

toyed with the idea of making a PCB, but haven't had the enthusiasm of late. It uses the Teenys LC

it does the job :p

Clink on the link to the file in Aixelsyd''s original post. It will take you to the Thingiverse web site, from that page you'll find a button to have the item printed for you. Chose one of the services and it will give you links to folks in your area, even in the UK, that will print it for you and ship it for a fee. I was going to do that but decided to buy my own printer instead.

DNA-Decay, some good ideas there!
For sure there are a ton of options for which buttons to use and their placement. I'm a PVE player, which effects some of my choices. I actually ran out of my commonly used commands before I ran out of buttons! All together I have around 40 momentary buttons and 2 toggles between the stick, throttle and box.

I haven't bothered using the previous subsystem button since engineering my ships, I just target my... target, and take down shields and then hull. I've never used the jettison all buton, although I did think about it to get rid of the pesky mission reward cargo. I have landing gear assigned to a button on the throttle so I don't have to take my hand off of it when I use it for an emergency break to slow down when coming into a station too hot.

The toggles were tough to assign since they're not momentary switches. There aren't enough commands that allow a toggle option.

Thanks all for the compliments but please remember that Aixelsyd is the designer and was kind enough to share the 3D file!

Thank you, I'll try that.
