Thanks for the effort, 2,76% is not much - lots of kudos to those explorers.That said, I am tootling around Jaques at the moment, will probably head off to Beagle point and then loop back to Sag A on my looong trip back to the Bubble. So who knows, I may reach it yet Exploring is good fun though, I like to break up the monotony of it by taking breakes scooting around rocky worlds at high speeds in my SRV whEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *thump*

Scan some HMC's , ELWs, and WW's they will rack up your credit fund for rank, and careful in the SRV depending how many you packed, i only have one now so trying to leap canyons in it while 20kly out is not healthy!

My Conda gets 57 Ly per jump is that normal?

I actually allowed myself the luxury of having 2 SRV's on board - just in case. Up until now I haven't needed the second one, thanks to being able to repair on the go. But it is good to have a backup just in case.

Also I use a Multirole Build for Exploring, I could get more distance out of her but with the current configuration I am able to welcome a Thargoid properly should the (unexpected) need arise

i went from 58% to elite on one trip to Jaques just honking and scooping. if you need to top up there are plenty of neutrons and black holes nearby...

That is pretty impressive. I made about 10 million on my trip, I found several ELW but I had a massive jump range so didn't do many jumps.

I went to BP twice before becoming Elite. I surface-scanned mostly scooping stars and the occasional odd planet. I didn't farm neutron stars.

But yeah, your example shows it seems to be unbalanced compared to the other ranks, isn't it? It just seems like it's OTT.

I wonder how many Elite Explorers there actually are (and how many managed to preserve their sanity)

I made elite over a year ago, but a couple weeks ago I got the bug to visit Beagle Point and the Treehouse, and see bow far out I could get.

Made it to 65,407LY and decided that was good enough. Started return trip a couple days ago and I'm now about 58klys out, planning on being home sometime next week

My plan was to do this trip before the 2.2 beta ends.

That's very good, but a build like that may not work in the future.

I'm at 48.91 with full 64T of fuel plus 922mj shields and 5A g5 dirty drive thrusters and 2 SRV's

I like the improved handling and safety margin.

I hope to get elite when I reach Jaques by 2.2. Have been scanning WW, ELW, main stars and a lot of TC planets. Now I am trying to get NS near the galactic plane waiting for the new patch. I hope they don't change the credits on the low for each discovery.
