6D Fighter hangar - Am I doing something wrong ?

Hello CMDRs,

I tried to put the 6D Fighter hangar to my Anaconda and I selected the fighters for this hangar in the Outfitting menu.
The description of the hangar is "2 Bays" and OK, I bought two fighters. But when I look at the "Crew Lounge", there are three slots for crew members, but there is only one active seat available. How can I activate the second seat for the second fighter pilot ?
 
You also can't invite a friend to Multicrew and fly SLFs together while your NPC mans the helm. NPCs refuse to man the helm the moment a friend joins you. I fully engineered a T10 for Multicrew SLF fun before I found this out.

Another advantage of the size 6 fighter hangar is that you can have two different fighter types and deploy whichever you think is best for any given situation. You are only allowed to fit one hangar, so this is the only way of getting a choice.

Whereas there is no artificial limit on the number of planetary vehicle hangars you can fit, a big ship could carry a dozen or more, from the following list:

You also can not drive SRVs with a friend in Multicrew. I found that out by making the trip to the Guardian ruins in a friend's ship via Multicrew to keep him company thinking I could drive one of his SRVs. We land and realize the only thing I can do is watch from the cockpit. I've begun go wonder if Multicrew was just a facade to incentivize buying multiple account for free pips. Sounds crazy, but looking at how little of Multicrew actually works...
 
That ist just how FD works. Throw in a big new feature and then forget about it and start the next. I guess it is because new features always sell better than improving old ones. Sadly it doesn't make for a better game though. The realities of having to pay bills :p
