It seems silly that with all the 'clever stuff' we can do, handing over materials isn't judged to be important/feasible. Since it miraculously follows us around even when 'killed', handing over a few bits seems pretty trivial to me ... come on Frontier ... :S

I don't think this was a matter of fuel but a matter of using Jumponium, not having enought to get back and realizing the jump is too far...I think...I don't think more fueld would have fixed this problem and with no astroids around no one could mine anything for him. He was literally stranded.

It took approximately 48Hrs of flight before I decided to give up.

I would have made it to 10Ly but unfortunately I started spinning in a circle at 2001c during flight, making 8 hours of that travel worthless .
