A beautiful place to bounty hunt?

Hi

Im looking for a new place to call home, where i can place all my ugly ships

I saw ObsidianAnt's video today and saw this gorgeous place and thought there must be a place like that with a station near by and some bounty hunting options

If you're starting out and plan to expand and modify your fleet, you should consider a base near Lee Yong Rui controlled areas. Rui offers 15% off on ships and modules and savings mount up over time.

Also you should consider trade routes, some ports sit on very lucrative resources. Exmple, depending on your scruples (or lack thereof

) you can make money on slaving, at a locale near my home base (for the record I don't slave).

If you want pretties, you can visit them, but maybe some practical considerations should be made.

I used to bounty hunt in Pemoeri. It's Empire controlled, but has Federation presence, and is very close to Alliance space, so it's excellent for KWS bounties.

It also has a nice blue giant, and the RES's are really close to the main port (like 3ls), Al-Din Landing. So you can get a nice view on the way out.

Outfitting is plain terrible. And the port is 1800ls from the star. But I kept that as my home for a year, and i still return there.

Leesti is nearby for excellent outfitting if needed.

I think a recent update moved the only HAZ Res to a planet quite far out though. Which is one of the reasons I began looking for a new home.

nor i do i need money

Im simply looking for something that look awesome and i can really enjoy in VR

and it wont hurt if it is really close to a big station ofc

Don't think ED has bounty hunting. They may call it that but it's really RNG POI hunting, or just wait in one spot for it to appear close by. The original titles from long ago had actual bounty hunting but not ED. This is arcade with gorgeous graphics and sound. Take a look at the the original kickstart. Scroll down and watch some of the vids. ED is a completely different game than what was described.

I I thought the same thing however there is a bit of a limited Mechanic if you look at the "most wanted Billboard" it gives the names of people what their bounty is and their last know location. Not sure how effective this is as people move around a lot.

Well we control a system with 5 Haz Res and other res sites. No KWS wanted as we only want people collecting bounties on our behalf to boost our influence as we are Independent and the mechanic with Fed/Empire bounties affects us.

the HAZ res in olela is the visually most beautifull one i know off - beside the RES in the pleiades, T Tauri, California Nebula and at Colonia, which are all a bit far out.

You can't beat res farming round a ringed earthlike, for the views. I think Eta Carnae might have one though I'm afk. So forgive my mind wipe.

Mazahuanses is a nice ALD RES system with some really nice views.

You should consider ALD space if you're not apposed to supporting the Empire because you can get twice the payout for your bounties (Empire AND Federal bounties) at level 5 PowerPlay.

Njikan and Ross 199. Their right next door to each other and have Pristine metallic and ice rings.
Qama is only 2 or 3 jumps away and is controlled by Li Yong Rui. Bought several ships in that system for the discount.
Njikan - Smeaton Port is high tech and you can get most of the gear you need.
I kept most of my ships in Ross 199 - Nicollet terminal. It's only a few 100ls from the star.
Both are Federation.

70 Virginis. It's a beautiful split ring ELW in Alliance space with a ton of RES to choose from (including HazRes) The night side is especially striking with all the lights. Nearby 59 Virginis also has a ringed ELW as I recall.
