What I think is going to happen is that the UK will use Ireland as a weapon in their Brexit strategy. If the EU go too hard on the Brits, it will put us in a difficult position when dealing with our closest cultural and most important economic neighbour. A position which could force us out of the Euro, thereby weakening the currency and undermining international confidence in it.

Ironically, I could see it feasibly playing out (however unlikely) that the North rejoins the Republic just in time for the Republic to rejoin the Commonwealth. Lol.

Stick that in your collective pipes and smoke it. =)

Forget about the commonwealth crap, it's forward we're going not backwards. If there is a customs border coming then the Brit's should man it and pay for it completely. Let's see how long they'll last, the border communities are not going back to having to do a 30km detour to get 500m down the road.

My military experience? Ah well doing the whole last stand thing wasnt really my area of expertise...but as yer the font of all knowledge, Ill let yer imagination fill in the blanks. Lets just say that my job was to be invisible...and thats all Ill say about that.

Union jack boxers...that made me smile actually but not fer the reason you think.

Anyway this is going nowhere...yer not gonna change and neither am I and we are on opposite sides with no middle ground. Time will tell the tale and if the brown stuff hits the fan...well then we shall just have to wait n see what happens.
