A DK2's rebuttal of the CV1 hype

If I was robbed and my DK2 was nicked....

....or my dog chewed on the DK2 (and as I have an English Mastiff, trust me, its possible)

....or if I dropped my DK2 and it smashed into a thousand pieces.....

I would still go and order another DK2 straight away.

CV1 is going to released, but I can't fly in space or drive round Brands Hatch like a lunatic with monitors anymore...

Just my 2 pence worth.

Nosh

I have a 106lb. American bully who loooves black plastic and rubber...not kidding. the danger is real.

my specs are s follows: msi big bang 2 X79 mobo, i7 3820@4ghz, 16gigs ddr3@1600mhz, 2x msi 670 power edition/SLi and a thermaltake 850w psu.
I currently run ED at ultra (game detected) with a DSR res of 1440p and a smoothness factor of 100%, AA@ SLI 64x csaa and AAtrans @sli 16x supersample. I've made other minor settings changes but the ones i listed are the most unbelievable.
2 670s is > a single Titan.

It is also better than a 970.

So of course you are having a decent experience, because you obviously lucked out on the SLI problems as well. I have a GTX titan and if I am at anything more than medium settings I can't maintain 75 fps. At ultra, in the rift, I bounce between 50-60.

Meanwhile, on ultra settings and 5760x1080 surround I get 60-70 fps at all times without issue.

I have SLI 770s and while I can run 1080p on max settings pretty smoothly, DSR seems to work really poorly. Aside from massive frame drops even at something like 1.5x there's a really strong strobing effect I get if I use any resolution above 1080p.
