Because we already have the grizzly, they gave a slot to a brown bear species that without looking at google photos for 20 minutes to spot the differences between them and a grizzly bear, you could not tell the two apart.

The HBB can be found in Russian and other European zoo’s.

So realism is the reason so many people dislike that ugly cheap copy, too bad

Honestly, the Himalayan Brown bear pick by itself does not bother me that much (but I might be biased, since a zoo in my country actually has them), but my problem is that they do not look like the real HBB at all. If Frontier made them distinct enough from the Grizzly as they should be, I think less people would be dissapointed by the pick.

They should be lighter and more fluffy than grizzly, which would immeadiately make them more different to justify their inclusion.

If I would have had to pick a bear to replace the Himalayan Brown Bear with it would be the Andean Bear, Sloth Bear, or American Black Bear, go for a member species with some definable traits and uniqueness instead of more of the same with an indistinguishable subspecies or even give it to a whole other species, but that's a topic for another thread don't want to get off subject.

If I may steer us back on subject so we don't attract unwanted attention from the supervisors, I think criptids would be a cool surprise type pack just for fun like Zoo Tycoon did, I would like all the original ones from back in the day plus some new ones like a wyvern or something.
