A little help...

So I’ve reached SLATCHUE IR-W D1-0 and only one other system is in my jump range (60 ly) with FSD boost 2...does anyone have suggestions on how to find other systems.

I’ve zoomed out and slowly zoomed In to see what systems pop up, the closest system is 61 ly lol

I can reach system that is 45 ly away, however, no other system is close to that.

I can’t go back the way I came since I got to this system from a Neutron Star.

Thanks for any suggestions

Can you make a jumponium boost? If so then turn on the blue spider-lines in the galaxy map. select the best boost you have jumponium for and look at what lines (available jumps) are there.

What he said. Systems that are up or down can be very hard to spot with the zoom in and out method.

Also, are you aware of the orange hats? If you have to galaxy map focused on a system then any system that you could jump to if you were there with you current range and fuel level (and any boost selected in the second tab of the galaxy map) will be shown with a little orange hat. These are invaluable when trying to work out routes through the sparser regions of the galaxy.

If the systems aren't there, they aren't there. Neutron-jumping into a system with no possible way of getting back is easy to do, out on the fringes. I just looked up where Slatchue sector was; it's not on the fringe so there should be enough stars around there?

There used to be a way to safely visit such systems: "double-neutron-boosting". However, that was classified as a bug and removed, so there's no way of doing it now. And there was certainly no way of doing it once you've already made the neutron jump.

If there's only one system within jumponium range, and jumping to that system doesn't help you get anywhere useful (for example, if the only system within jumponium range from that second system is the one you just jumped from), then you're stuck. Your only hope of rescue is to wait for a Fleet Carrier to come and pick you up.

Yea I currently have boost level 2 and no lines are showing up. I assume the lines are on by default for ps4 players. I didn’t see an option to turn them on.

Assuming it is the same as for the PC - clicking in the box for fastest route cycles the spider lines on or off (they are on when the box is "filled") although now I think about it, if the FSD Boost box is ticked then the lines show anyway - sorry for that confusion on my part.

If you select boost level 3 do you see any spider-lines and if so what are you short of for that synthesis? Maybe you can find some stuff or maybe someone could try to help with it (like the "end of the road" rescue) - I am not on PS4 so couldn't help but someone will.

It can take ages (sometimes literally minutes) at PS4 for the lines to show up. You also may have to zoom out a bit, but not too much, for the lines to show up. That is a bit tiresome on the Playstation.
