I do hope so.Last I heard, Colin Trevarow still insists they're Deinonychus, so who knows...
Where did you get that from? I haven't found anything regarding that yet. Paleontologist Steve Brusatte, the new major paleo-consultant for Dominion, said on his Twitter account Trevorrow may have not reveled their official name yet. The person who "found" this image of them with the information they shared currently now has their account suspended since god-knows when.Last I heard, Colin Trevarow still insists they're Deinonychus, so who knows...

With stuff like this, no matter how much media virality it gets, or no matter the origin (even if its from an unofficial source that gets things accurate time and time again like a certain Twitter user I know), can't really be trusted because they don't contain a full context with all the know "allowed-to-be-shared facts."First I've heard of them not being called Deinonychus. Probably just some silly person on a social media site said otherwise and it did the rounds.
Thank you. I really needed to hear that.Where did you get that from? I haven't found anything regarding that yet. So far, I can't find any official confirmation on what these new raptors are, so their identity (Deinonychus or Atrociraptor or whatever else) remains ambiguous until then.
All we have about them, as far as I'm aware of, are both "leaks" and bogus claims that gain uncontrolled virality, and that in and of itself can be a trap. Because if they are leaked pieces of information, they can be changed, or already be totally different from the beginning (be it a mistake either way, or a deliberate trick to toy with people), before any official announcement or reveal, as many others I've seen before.
I notice that Pyroraptor isn't on that list either. Here's hoping that's the one that got replaced. The Jurassic Park wiki cites this article from a month ago.

"Dinosaurs that have been confirmed to appear in Jurassic World 3 include:
I don't know that someone who can't spell Giganotosaurus is necessarily a reputable source, but it's something.
- Allosaurus
- Ankylosaurus
- Atrociraptor
- Compsognathus
- Dreadnoughtus
- Gallimimus
- Gigantosaurus
- Iguanodon
- Lystrosaurus
- Moros
- Mosasurus
- Nasutoceratops
- Oviraptor
- Quetzalcoatlus
- Tyrannosaurus rex
- Velociraptor"
Also, there are reconstructions of the head of Atrociraptor that look similar profile wise to the dominion raptor squad (very squared), I'd find it unusual if Deinonychus was the intended designation, granted accurate depictions is rarely the intention.I notice that Pyroraptor isn't on that list either. I don't know. I guess I'd just be very disappointed to see them go out of their way to homage the original trilogy Velociraptors, just to call them something other than Deinonychus (which is what the original trilogy raptors were based on). It'd would be a tragic missed opportunity. Also, there are reconstructions of the head of Atrociraptor that look similar profile wise to the dominion raptor squad (very squared), I'd find it unusual if Deinonychus was the intended designation, granted accurate depictions is rarely the intention.
End of the day, they do what they do, and we are powerless observers.
