The talking avatars at the beginning of the game trailer appeared very realistic.
Lets ask a dino expert on there behaviours
The talking avatar disappears fairly quickly, misleading, isn't it? Anyways, it's pointless to argue on that. I'm not blaming anyone. I just think that since if Frontier think the trailer looks amazing, why not push harder to make that the case in actual gameplay? I'll appreciate with all my heart if that is made possible.
In Ross' world, the entire JP franchise would be very funny btw.
I've always wanted some kind of game where dinosaurs had a more advanced A.I and actually react to environments, in a survival/horror genre.
The only game I've play that was close was Peter Jackson's King Kong, an older PS2 game.
I'm not sure about ARK: Survival Evolved and another robotic dinosaurs one.
But I guess Jurassic World: Evolution is a satisfactory even though not survival/horror, but does have stunning graphics and better A.I than Jurassic World: Operation Genesis.
Would you mind elaborate a little how the AI of the Kong's game appeals to you? Anyways, I will look into it when I'm free. Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.
In case people don't follow closely the lengthy posts here, please allow me to repeat myself - please refer to my earlier post #15 on page 1 regarding AI of Dinosaurs.
I think a decent Dino AI is extremely relevant here. The "illusion of learning" AI I proposed may adds a layer of details, complexity, and challenges to park management. In fact, I think what I suggested might be inferior if comparing to what the developers have done already as stated in the PC gamer magazine. Accordingly, they said the Indominus is of no joke and Raptor are extremely intelligent, particularly attentive, constantly searching for outbreaks.
As I'm not a creative person myself, and I'm new to park builders, I really like to hear from you guys on what sort of Dino AI can be implemented to make the park management game more challenging and enhancing its replayability.
