Happy to report that the new scanner* is now available from military, high-tech and industrial planetary bases, as well as rescue megaships.
*To be absolutely clear, this is, as I say, a >new< scanner. This is not an upgrade to your current scanner.

First I will try T10. Would be fun to try 6 Salvations shards with premium ammo, this is huge damage - but i think impossible to solve heat problems.
