A new update/DLC coming soon?

Is it just me or the other thread has completely disappeared and all messages removed? I'm very disappointed because many of us posted there things and we have not been involved in the "fight". Only those messages should have been removed or, maybe just close the thread, but don't delete all other user's posts which had nothing to do with the issue.

That being said, do you think we will get some news about the new update/DLC tomorrow or next week? It's been more than a month since the last small update and the 1-way glass pieces are still not working. I think that if they haven't released a small patch for that bug, it must be because they are already preparing the big new update. I can't wait to see what's next! I miss steamDB hints and this expectation is killing me!

That is true. Even when the really most part of people is expecting a North American DLC we do not know the animals we get delivered. This was a bit disappointing for the Africa DLC that all exhibit animal were already known months before and I was a bit surprised that frontier did not react on this to bring at least one further animal (one "easy-to-make"-one). But now I am also very excited what we will get. Hopefully we all will know more in a week.

I am surprised that we didn't get any teaser today, because 14th september would be the same time span as between the SEA and Africa DLC. I assume on tuesday we should very likely get a teaser or update annoucement (probably NA dlc), to be able to fit into this frame, and in december right before christmas the "big" aviary DLC, making this year the biggest year for PZ as Chante announced.

There is a decent argument for why that leak helped them and why they should give more lead IMO. I’ve seen lists of up to a dozen animals people want from NA. By waiting to give the actual animals until the a few weeks before, the overwhelming feeling some (many?) people’s minds will be disappointment. Not what you want with a big money maker coming out. If you give a month or two lead, people have time to get on board.

Oh thank goodness! Please not another Otter I have to growl at and I happily take a few land-only animals from North America :D

Honestly, as much as I would love a North America Pack and a european pack down the line, in a perfect world it would be something we are completly not expecting. Like South East Asia. It was so niché, I would have never expect it and I loved the surprise.

The SEA pack was certainly unexpected, but for me it was very welcome! I love so many animals in that pack. The only one I don't actively use is the proboscis monkey (I just don't like monkeys that much) but the rest: yes! (even though the Malay tapir doesn't look like a Malay tapir, which really should be fixed in the next update!)

Ideally I'd love an animal pack from NA, and a normal DLC from Europa. Perhaps we'll see a new adjusted DLC, like 5+1 animals and 1 new theme? Who knows! I'd love to be surprised.

I think they are referring to the North American river otter, which is tied for me with the Asian small-clawed otter. I love otters, too.

At this point, I'm happy with whatever they throw at us. Especially if it's a gray fox. I just, I can't even begin to describe how happy I'd be if we get one. I may die from excitement
