As some of you might be aware, an issue with an in-game commodity, Rockforth Fertiliser, was identified on Friday, which allowed Commanders to purchase and sell the commodity from the same station. As this was not intended, the team introduced a server-side fix to remedy the issue.
We have discovered a number of Commanders who abused this unintended exploit in order to provide themselves with an excessive amount of credits far beyond what’s possible in the game currently.
We always review instances where players gain an unfair advantage on a case-by-case basis, evaluating the impact that it can have on the community and health of the game. As a result, we will be removing the credits (and acquired assets) earned by abuse of this exploit from Commanders’ accounts to remedy the unbalanced credit gain. Those affected will receive an in-game message to their inbox shortly.
