Over 1100 explorers have been ganked so far, as can be seen here: http://roaweb20161109100616.azurewebsites.net/Static/AllKills?from=2019-01-13&to=2099-01-14 (long load time).

My question for you is, do you only care about yourself, and if other people are dying by the hundreds, you see no problem with it? I'm trying to understand the explorer mentality here. Is it essentially ego-centric?

Keep in mind, that doesn't include the explorers killed at POIs along the way.

Well, personally I am concerned, with all the big names out in deep space, that the Bubble garden will be untended and overgrown with weed. :(

Seriously... if ever anyone wanted to venture into Open in the Bubble, now's the time to do it.

Maybe, re-buys aren't all that important. I wouldn't trade any re-buys/credits for negotiating time with you. You and the children should just be ignored.

Because for the most part, aside from the few who might role play along with you, nobody much cares about your role playing game.

It's a shame that you don't. If a lot of folks would stop being so damn proud and spiteful, they'd see how much fun and interesting content The Overlord has brought to this community.

I'm not sure where this link leads and it looks kinda shady.

Since DW2 began, I've been in regular contact with dozens of other commanders over local chat, system chat, squadron chat, and Discord chat. There were a few reports of some griefers in open for a few hours, but nothing really notable for us. So the people I'm flying and communicating with don't have any problems during the expedition.

As I already wrote on the other thread: For the people who are actually in DW2, this is mostly a complete non issue. We are currently busy mining for a deep space outpost. No gankings so far, thanks for asking.

It's not my trust you need to gain. But if my trust was the issue, you and your kindergarten class have lost any chance at even sniffing it. It is certain that anything you do is to gain more targets or sycophants.

Respected explorer, one important practice in diplomacy is to avoid calling members of the other party kindergarteners. It is counter-productive with respect to establishing mutual trust.

The web site is a player created tool that parses commander logs, adds up all the PvP kills and totals them. The total is currently over 1100 explorer kills.

So your position is that if you personally haven't been impacted by the slaughter of over 1000 explorers, then you don't care anything about it. Is that accurate?

So you elevate your own personal pride above preventing hundreds of people from experiencing suffering. Isn't that...evil?

I am making small talk here. Useless commentary spent on a useless topic. I am not part of DW at any level.

If you do believe it is suffering, you are just as goofy as those that complain about wanton ship destruction. The second side of the same coin as it were. Precious pixels. So much so that you make a list. This kind of attitude is just the mirror image of 'I got ganked' threads.

No, it's not.

I would argue that at least 1100 destroyed explorers do care about it. The tragedy is that as these explorers are being slaughtered by the hundreds, those not effected are callously turning a blind eye to their suffering.

Not that I take this as gospel. But your second line adequately reflects my views. Re-buys are no one's problem bit their own.

Are you suggesting that in a large scale war, that military leaders should not track victories and defeats? That they should completely ignore the outcome of the war they are leading? How does that even make sense?

Look, Mr. Null, we're not seeing any impact of your "large scale war" on the expedition. It is progressing exactly as planned. Any effects are completely negligible.

So if you want to get someone to negotiate about anything, you're gonna have to try much harder than that.
