A Quote That Makes My Hair Stand Up

I would like to think he meant that finally after all this time, they and Apple found a way to get it working on the Mac. I'm a PC guy myself, but I do feel for you guys on Macs.
Any version that works on Vulkan / Linux will work on Macs as well with minor tweaks. That could represent a number of players that exceeds either console.

There's still the issue of Mac hardware as it isn't primarily designed for games, but that can be worked out long term.

Raspberry Pi.
You joke, but I'm working on that.

I just read that as we are getting new players for the PlayStation 4 and hopefully more new players for the other existing platforms

I have a Next Gen Amiga, running Amiga OS 4.2. Very snappy OS and Machine. Would love to play Elite: Dangerous on it, but, I will not hold my breath for it to ever come true. :)

Gizmondo obviously. Or maybe Bandai Pippin.

Actually, I would love to see Elite reimagined as a 2D bullet hell shooter for the Dreamcast.

I expect that Morgan is correct and he just meant that updates will hopefully keep attracting new players on the existing platforms. If it was a written statement it would probably have been phrased so as to be completely unambiguous, but that's what you get with off the cuff remarks.

It's what happens when people ignore the most obvious answer and start creating unlikely outcomes of their own.

All the signs are there people so I'm calling it.

Space legs and atmospheric landings, complete with big game hunting, all available only on the Raspberry Pi3 version, coming soon.

Nicely played DBOBE!
