I think the key to ED is not so much the learning curve, it is the relationship of the learning curve to enjoyment and entertainment. Its like learning maths once you get it, you get it. Imho that is why the newcomers forum is generally speaking a friendly place because CMDRs who get it want to help those who want to get it.

14. Love the variety of voices at stations from African to Scottish, adds a good feel that the Human race is in space.

I'm hoping to get the Scottish guy as a passenger in 2.2, wishing that keelhauling was a thing

My only reservation (not VR wise) about the new hyperjump is the amazing noise you get on arrival - it nearly made me have to change my boxers the first time. It is definitely too loud - to stop this disturbing the neighbours I have to turn all effects down and so spoils other effects.

I play with headphones, so neighbours aren't a consideration, they have just released Beta 4 and l think the sound is more even through the jump now and the spinning might be a little more gentle.
