General / Off-Topic A royal guard of Scottish origin has literally lost his cool

Any angry scottish people that can translate what he is saying? I can understand scottish fairly well, considering my native language isn't english, but....not angry scottish apparently.

nvm, found translation in comments.
Scots: (Haw, git yersel away, ye came n ye did this yesterday anowl, do wan, turn the camera aff)
Improved: (Listen, get yourself away, You've came and did this yesterday too, do him one, turn the camera off)

Awesome. It must be infuriating doing that job sometimes. I love the way the other solider momentarily gets ready for a fight.

I'm not sure about the translation. It is right in spirt though.

Sounds to me like 'you came and did this on Thursday and all. Do one... and the camera'.

This happened last week, so as you may guess. Things were a little tense, due to the Westminster bridge thing.

:D Lost his cool, or just used the harsh tone, what the other deserve? when you getting provoked, it's time to put the other his well deserved place right? And if this means something like this, or just a tone icy and raw enough to kill with it? :)
Or kept bugged? :) Same.. You either loe your cool or just had enough you take the swatter, and it's over.

This is the thing. You just keep doing it, until the other lose it's cool or do what he must, to put an end of it, and whenever will be? You shifting blame to him because of it. The error in there? :)
The provoker cannot play martyr, unless the "judge" is partial.

I don't think he lost his cool. The guard was firm and polite.
Discharging his weapon into the tourist would have been losing his cool.

Unless the Tourist gone too far, and the warning is given. In some places you have nothing to do as civilian, without authorization.

That's the thing isn't it. People assume they are a tourist attraction. They are not for show, they are there for a reason.

Yup, lets face it the words "stupid tourist" weren't mashed together without reason, many of us do stupid and silly things when abroad, that disregard the country we are in.

January, no?
Interesting: You are correct, I just checked, but this was shown the day after the Westminster bridge thing. Once again, assumption got in the way of fact. Sorry about that.

That said; as someone pointed out. Those guys are not window dressing; they are called the 'The Queens Guard' because that is what they do.

Yes we know... Not you saying it, just the bible... Cheap excuse. If you using it for whatever reason, than this is what you think, this is what you use to further your own goals! Also guess where you ended with your plausible denialibity games? treachery and deception, skulking around, be a slippery eel can also counts as a "sin" in some cases, my dear "friend". Also? You are forgotten i showed em how to read in this, so? it cannot be denied after a numbers of cases... And you can be sure, there will be no talking between us, that never going to happen. It's only me bashing you lots.

All of this? happened before. And i never answered to what you wanted to make the other participants, to belíve. I revealed what you do.

A strange post here ... unrelated to the subject ... really strange ... an error no doubt ...

Step back from the Queen's guard!

A couple of years back my Mum received MBE. Allowed to take a couple of guests with her, I was lucky enough to drive the car in, through the front gates of Buckingham Palace. Once inside you started to notice that ALL the life guards, as well as being well enough armed with three foot swords, each had a glock pistol holstered too. The Queen also had a personal guard of two Gurkha soldiers at all times in public, and although it looks ceremonial, they're all on active duty. Step over the line and believe me, there would be no messing about.
