A secondary left mouse click on the keyboard.

This might sound odd but I find myself wanting something more and more. When I’m laying down a bunch of things, like say, tile or walls where I repeat the same motion over and over and over again, you just have to continue to press the left mouse button, but sometimes just pressing it would move the mouse because of your finger movement. What I think would be great would be a keyboard equivalent of the left mouse click for instances like this. For my example, I would be positioning the mouse or the piece where I want it, and rather than having to press the left mouse key to place it, I would love for, maybe the SPAQCE bar to do the same so I can just position, stamp, position, stamp, position, stamp. I find when you are doing things like this, pressing the mouse button many times moves the piece from where you wanted it, so not having to press the left mouse button and having an alternate method would allow you to precisely position a piece and then press another key to place it. Unless you can already do this, then MY BAD, but I've tried every key and none of them work for me!

I find I want this more and more especially on repetitive actions.

I can understand where you are coming from, but I really don't see it as that big of a deal. There are players who try to play on Macs with a one button mouse, and they could REALLY use a right click on the keyboard. But I don't think that would be a big concern to most people. Maybe try a higher quality mouse? I have a 7 button programmable mouse which has custom speed settings and weights for precision movement, cuz I play RTS games [tongue]

Well that would be a great thing, but in my case my hands shake which I can't stop from happening. I have a weighted mouse with 5 programmable buttons. It's not the mouse that's the problem, it's me and my abilities. So it's hard enough to already hold the mouse still for a second to place the item let alone when I relinquish my one finger that helps stabilize my mouse shaking to press the mouse button. Under normal circumstances it's no big deal or me and it's manageable becasue not everything needs to be precise when I'm clicking that mouse button, but at times when you do the same thing over and over and over again, it would be a great big help. When I'm placing a single item, if it moves from where I wanted it, just an undo and try again. But when your placing tile after tile like water or something, you can imagine how many times it moves and is placed in the wrong area to have to redo. I have about a 60% redo rate now as it is, but if I could stabilize the mouse completely and not have to move my finger to place the item, that would change almost everything in my abilities. After all, looking at the keyboard map of what the game actually already uses, there is more than 3/4 of the keyboard open to have one open key mimic a left mouse click or even a right mouse click for the Mac users. From a programming stand point, this would be relatively easy in that just map the key to do something that's already programmed to happen. In other games you are able to map keys do to things like walk climb, jump and so on that suite the individual user. Some don't like using arrow keys to walk around and others don't like the W,A,S,D keys either and that's why they allow programming of the buttons to help individuals who have certain likes or dislikes or abilities or disabilities to still enjoy the game using what the have. For me, that ability in this game would change how much I can use and enjoy the game and I think it's just a very simple addition that most games today already allow. Not everyone has both hands working 100% and with all finger. Haa Haa! Life happens some times and in those cases, I like to play games to remove myself from some limitations I face daily in real life. I guess it's an escape you could. say. But it works for me. Well you can clearly type just fine [happy]

Did you know there are programs you can download for modifying your computers internal functions? There are tools to change the buttons around on a keyboard. I never tried assigning a key to a mouse click button before, but I bet it is already possible if you do some Google searching.

Heres a place to start, but like I said, I never tried remapping the mouse before. But maybe you will have better luck yourself - https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/help/support/how-to/keyboard/reassign-keys or https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G13...981281&sr=1-10&keywords=programmable+keyboard

Please let me know if it works out!
