A suggestion regarding the X-55: The stick needs to be mounted lower than the throttle, so that your arms are at the same height when handling both.

My setup has them mounted on the chair, offset in height so that my forearms use the chair's armrests. Roughly, the hand-rest of the stick aligns with the switches on the throttle .
